How can my band play at the festival?

We are still working out the details for our independent artist application process. Please check back soon for more information on how to apply, as well as details of the process and any fees required.

Will you be selling food at the festival?

Yes. There will be several food vendors selling fair-type food, such as Thai BBQ, tacos, shaved ice, and hot and cold gourmet coffee drinks.

Can we bring outside food or drinks into the festival?

Yes, except alcohol and illegal drugs.

Are there "in and out" privileges during the festival?

Persons with valid wristbands will be allowed in-and-out access during regular festival hours. There will be limited access from midnight to 7am for security reasons. Our security team will be monitoring our main gate during overnight hours allow access for emergencies and special circumstances.

Is there a curfew?

Yes. The noise curfew is from 11pm to 7am. There will be a children's curfew from about midnight to 7am, where children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Am I allowed to distribute flyers or information about my organization, band, or ministry at the festival?

Any advertising or distribution within the festival grounds must be approved by management. Many of our vendors have paid money for booth space. Also, it is our responsibility to assure that the information distributed at the festival is in accordance with the Word of God and our ministry goals.

Can I sell stuff at the festival?

If you have a product that you would like to sell at the festival, you must complete and submit a Vendor Application. (There are fees and guidelines that must be followed.) If you are an artist who is performing at the festival, please contact us for information on setting up a merchandise table. Unauthorized sale or distribution of products, services, or literature is strictly forbidden.

Are skateboards or rollerblades allowed?

Although the ministry team Boarders For Christ will have a skate park set up for their professional skaters, the public will not be allowed to ride on their equipment, as well as anywhere else in the fairgrounds. However, there is a skate park a short walk from the fairgrounds that is open to the public free of charge.

What is there to do outside the festival?

The local town of Quincy is quite small, but there's still plenty of activities. Check out the Plumas County Visitors Bureau for more information.

What's the weather like? How should I dress?

Statistically, the average daytime high for Labor Day weekend is 86°, while the average overnight low is 40°. So this means hot days and cool nights. The average rainfall in September is less than 1 inch.

Is there moshing allowed?

Technically, no, but that depends on your definition of "moshing". Bumping against one another and jumping in place (even in an excited manner) is allowable, However, you may not push (with arms extended), kick, punch, or otherwise purposefully try to cause injury to another person. Stage diving or crowd surfing is not allowed under any circumstances.

Are there parking fees?

Yes. We will be charging $5 per vehicle (for the weekend) for parking at the fairgrounds main parking area. There are some free parking areas a short walk from the fairgrounds.

Can I bring my pet?

The fairgrounds doesn't allow dogs. Although there are no specific rules about llamas, emus, alligators, chimpanzees, and giraffes, if you have any of these pets, we recommend you leave them at home too.

Is there going to be another Cornerstone California?

We're not sure yet. Our goal is to bring a better "community" feeling by adding the camping element to our Southern California event. However, to accomplish this, we will need to find a different venue that will allow overnight camping. Please pray for us!
