If you are a booking agent or artist who is looking for paying venue, we recommend you contact our talent manager at joshuafest@gmail.com. Our budget has alredy been expended for this year, however, certain "trade" arrangement may be made.
A $25 application fee is due at the time of application. Payment can be made with PayPal (any major credit card), or a check can be sent via mail. Instructions will be provided at the time of application.
Approval of your application will be at the sole discretion of Joshua Fest management. Among other things, the process will involve a review of the artists' demos by a panel of judges. This review will take into consideration: general quality of music, vocals, originality, band unity, lyrical content and spiritual significance. Other aspects of the Artist's application will be considered, such as biography, experience (shows performed, including Joshua Fest), and other factors.
Applications will be approved within 1 to 2 weeks after submission. Unlike prior years, the approval process will be done on a first-come, first-served basis. This will allow approved artists time to promote earlier, as well as compete for our Main Stage position.
A $250 performance fee will be due by August 10th for all approved artists (less the $25 application fee). This year, we will be tracking ticket sales generated by our artists, and through this processs, the performance fee can be waived. Artists who generate sales of 25 or more tickets will be eligible for a waiver of their performance fees. Any general admission tickets will qualify, including child tickets, group tickets, and single-day tickets. However, camping passes (for tents and RV's) will not be counted. Only tickets purchased online prior to August 1st will be counted. More information about this new program will be provided upon approval of the Artist's application.
Approved artists will receive complimentary Full Event admission for up to 5 performing members. Additional tickets may be purchased at $45 each. Additional tickets will be limited to band members and family. Up to 2 complimentary parking passes and one tent pass will be provided for each artist/group
Approved artists (and guests) will be responsible for their own meals and lodging in conjunction with the festival and/or their performance; this includes bottled water during performance. (If you plan on staying in a nearby motel, we recommend you make your reservation immediately due to limited availability.)
The artists will be solely responsible for all expenses incidental to festival attendance and performance (other than items explicitly stated herein).
Joshua Fest will be providing stage and front-of-house sound equipment, including mixing boards/consoles, monitors (wedges), speaker systems, and mics, cords and stands/booms. Basic lighting will also be provided. A sound technician will be provided for the front-of-house board (unless requested otherwise).
