Choose an application method:
- Apply Online Now (preferred method). This is the quickest and most efficient way to get us your information. With this method, supporting documentation (such as a media kit, artist bio, and most importantly the artist demo, can still be mailed in. However, the application itself will be submitted via Internet.
- Or,
- Download, Print, and Mail Your Application. If you would rather, you can fill out this application and mail it in with demo CD and any other items of interest such as pictures, letters of recommendation, stickers, t-shirts, other promotional items, large amounts of cash, etc.
Artists who have completed the application process, and who are subsequently approved, will be provided an opportunity to perform at the festival subject to acceptance of our terms and conditions, as outlined below. Full terms and conditions will be provided upon acceptance.
Application, Merchandise, and othere Fees
At this time, we have not worked out the final details of our fee structure. More than likely, we will require all band members to buy a discounted festival ticket. However, we are considering ways to help our independent artists in today's economic times. Traditionally, we have charged a "merchandise" fee for all merchandise sales during the festival, ranging from 15% to 30%. We are considering waiving the merchandise fee in lieu of a straightforward per-person ticket price. Furthermore, we are not charging an application fee this year.
Honorarium and Expenses
Travel, food, lodging, and other incidental expenses are the responsibility of the artist.
Sound, Lighting, and Backline
Joshua Fest will be providing stage and front-of-house sound equipment, including mixing boards/consoles, monitors (wedges), speaker systems, mics, mic cords and stands/booms. Basic lighting will also be provided. A sound technician will be provided for the front-of-house board (unless requested otherwise). Artists must bring all their own instruments, including guitar and base amps, keyboards, and drum kit.
