July 8th - Tickets Available Again, just 38$ till July 16th!

If your transaction was denied the past few weeks it was due to our Credit Card merchant making some upgrades. We had needed to update the code in our transaction center online to keep on par with this upgrades...the issue is now fixed so your once again able to get your tickets. Don't forget our early bird rate goes up on after July 16th, so don't wait too long. You can now click on "Get Involved" and then "Street Team" to print out flyers and posters to hand to everyone you know and see. We really need your help getting the word out. Especially to Church's and Youth Groups. VOLUNTEER: Its a great way to serve, and be blessed all at once! We need tons of help and our Volunteer Application is now online under "Get Involved" and "Volunteer". Don't wait to long! Its super helpful to know early who all is going to roll up there sleeves with us!

Just checking in with everybody....we are rolling strong here at JF headquarters, gearing up for an exciting Joshua Fest 2010. With all the new things announced in our last news update like our new venue, The Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth, CA. the new date, Oct 22-24th, 2010. And of course new price structures to reflect the new dates, so please check out our ticket page for all the details and how you can save almost 50% off the Gate price if you get you tickets in advance. Just so you know, we really appreciate these early-bird event ticket sales. They make a huge difference in helping us book artists, advertising costs, and not to mention being able to determine how many people to plan for. Also be sure to keep checking back for even more band announcements, volunteer opportunities, and much more. Also, just a little tip...we update our facebook page very regularly....we even ask questions to see what your thinking. And have posted some pictures of the new venue on there... June 2nd - Joshua Fest 2010 Is On!!!

We recently sent out a survey asking for our fans' much-needed feedback regarding a very difficult decision that we needed to make. The results of that poll were pretty convincing: most would prefer to see Joshua Fest happen this year one way or another, and that waiting another year would be unbearable! It also seemed, in most cases, that the proposed location in Plymouth (just outside of Placerville) would be even more accessible to many people who were struggling with the decision of making the journey to the Plumas County Fairgrounds in Quincy.

So with that said, we've decided that our fans were right! Another whole year of waiting is just not going to work, and that a relocation to the Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth, California this October 22nd, 23rd & 24th is the best choice. So mark your calendars and print out your Google driving directions to this new location!

We're absolutely buried with things to do to prepare for this year's "alternate" Joshua Fest, so plan on seeing a lot of changes and updates in the next couple weeks; from new band additions, to many updates to the website. We will have downloadable flyers to print and hand out to your friends. And we will also have details on how you can get your band to play at Joshua Fest. We've also decided to ticket deadline (originally May 31st) to the end of June.

Be sure to visit our website over the next few weeks to take advantage of this final opportunity to get this amazing rate.

Joshua Fest 2010 is proud to include several amazing ONE TIME CHANCE SHOWS! With a rare appearance and re-united just for a few summer shows, The OC Supertones! They will be headlining our main stage on Saturday Sept 4th along with some other soon to be announce "back from the dead" bands that will also be playing! Don't forget, tickets go on sale Oct 31st!

September 28th - Family Force 5: "Posts" the PARTY on Itunes!

Are you going crazy trying to find the Family Force 5 Keep The Party Alive EP at Target? Have no fear! The exclusive title track has now been added to iTunes! Check it out here. Also, the band has posted some new tunes from next week's release of The Family Force 5 Christmas Pageant on their MySpace page! And get ready for a killer Christmas tour coming up this Christmas season (it's a pretty sweet line-up, we're not gonna lie!). More details to come...

September 22nd - >> Project 86 Announce Coats For Cold Nights Campaign

"We are very excited to be starting THE COATS FOR COLD NIGHTS CAMPAIGN on our upcoming PICKET FENCE CARTEL TOUR! As our band has traveled in recent months, we have noticed that many people have a heart for charity and social action, but have no idea where to begin or how to give of themselves. This seems to be one of the biggest questions in the church: How can I give my time and my resources and know it is being given to a trustworthy cause? We are in the same boat ourselves, so we decided to do something about it. This charity campaign involves YOU directly at each show. It's simple, easy, and a great way to use your power to help those who are in a less fortunate position. Here are the details: As we enter the fall and winter, each year, in every city in our country, there are thousands of homeless people who suffer through cold nights. Project 86 and all the bands on the tour are connecting directly with local homeless shelters and other related organizations in each city we hit on this tour to rally warm COATS AND JACKETS for the people who need them. Have an old jacket and don't know what to do with it? Now you know where it should go. Just make plans to come to the show in your town, bring your friends, and everyone bring a COAT! Details for collections will be at the door of each show. This is your chance to use your voice to love the ones who need it most..."

August 12th - Main Stage Contest in Full Swing

We're offering two main stage time slots for the two bands who help us the most in getting the word out. Each indie band was given a special coupon code. Not only can anyone use this code to get 10% off your ticket order, but we'll be tracking the ticket sales and the top 2 bands will get to paly our main stage. Everyone wins with this contest, so if you don't have your tickets yet, make sure you support your favorite indie band and use their coupon code when you buy your tickets.

August 11th - Volunteers Needed, Get Free Admission...

If you're willing to work a couple of 4-hour shifts, then you can get free admission* to Joshua Fest. Fore more information, go to our volunteer page for more information and to apply online.

August 5th - Group Discounts and SUPER Group Discounts

We know it's only a few weeks away, but it's never too late to run another ticket special. This one needs no special coupon code.

We're finally getting our act together and working on our lineup and stage schedule. Click the "Schedule" icon on the top of any Joshua Fest page or click here to see what we're up to. Also, check back often for ongoing changes and additions. Remember, our schedule is a work in progress so please be nice.

July 24th - Joshua Fest "twoferone" special is back (briefly)!

Last month we introduced a buy one Joshua Fest General Admission ticket and get another ticket free! One issue that many people had was figuring out how to apply the coupon to get the free ticket. SO, we decided to bring it back for a short window. So, if some of you missed out due to some confusion please take full advantage of our "twoferone" special. When you are getting tickets at Itickets put the amount of tickets you want to pay for. Example: If you want two tickets...but want the second ticket free, then only buy ONE ticket. At the bottom of the page at check out you will see a box to enter the "twoferone" coupon code. When you are finishing your transaction the 2nd ticket will be applied to your order at checkout. This special is only going to last till July 31st and is a great opportunity to make it affordable for your family, youth group, or bunch of friends looking for that perfect road trip. July 19th - Northern California's Joshua Fest partners with Syntax Records for 6th straight year

(official press release) Joshua Fest, the popular three-day, camp-style rock festival, has partnered with Syntax Records for a sixth straight year. The label has been affiliated with the event since its inception.

In addition to running the official Joshua Fest merchandise booth, offering a physical version of their QualityJunk.com music store, and helping to market and promote the event, Syntax will be contributing musical talent.

Alongside a lineup of Mxpx, Family Force Five, Emery, Project 86, Seventh Day Slumber, Falling Up, Showbread, The Classic Crime, Every Day Sunday, and Above the Golden State, you can expect to see Kaboose, Odd Thomas, Propaganda, and Jeremiah Bonds represent the world of hip hop.

"Joshua Fest is the type of festival I think about all year long," Syntax Records President Tim Trudeau said.

"I've never seen anything like it. The community atmosphere of strangers becoming friends over the shared experience of bonfire meals and great music performed with a 360 degree view of the Sierra Mountains is just surreal."

Go to our online application to submit your information and be a part of this year's festival. You can attend the festival for free, plus the rewarding experience of working with our team and helping others.

July 12th - Street Team Page Added, Loyal Fans UNITE!

Check out our street team page and help spread the word. Request some fliers and posters, or download them and use your own toner, paper, and scotch tape. Either way, better get a move on!

June 22nd - Calling All Up-And-Coming Bands...

Apply online to be a part of this year's festival. In 2008 our Joshua Fest heart skipped a beat, and it has taken every bit of collective effort to bring together our team and move forward with our plans for 2009. We trust and have faith in our Lord to bless our festival in 2009, and bless all people who help make it happen. We are thankful for your continued prayers, attendance, and loving support for our ministry.

May 28th - Website Launched, All Systems Go!

As they say, better late then never. Our website is a work in progress, so be patient for more to come, such as volunteer applications, vendor applications, and indie band sign-ups. Check back often for updates and announcements.

May 25th - 2009 Website is Almost Ready...

We know, we're slow.. but we're still capable. We have just a few loose ends we're tying up and then we'll be launching our official, fully-loaded, new-and-improved 2009 website. Of course these things are still always a work in progress, so don't expect every last detail to be considered in our initial launch--as always, we'll be making changes and improvements up to the last and final days. Thanks everyone for all your patience.
