The History of Joshua Fest
Joshua Fest began in the mind of Aaron Diello, who was still in high school in Quincy, California in 1994. Because of his love for both the Lord and music, he knew he'd always be in pursuit of working in the Christian music industry. He often donated his time helping churches in the local cities put together fundraisers via concerts and events. Eventually getting a job with a major Christian music distribution company, Aaron has made many important contacts and established a rapport with bands, booking agents, and record labels. In 2002, Aaron's dream of Joshua Fest started becoming a reality when he learned of the support available in his home town of Quincy. In early 2003, Aaron coincidentally made contact with Chris Spano, a friend from his high school and youth group (in Quincy); Chris and his family had just moved from Southern California to South Lake Tahoe. Hearing about Aaron's plans for the festival, Chris knew it was no accident meeting Aaron and followed God's instructions to partner with Aaron, and to make Joshua Fest a reality. The rest is history...
